Awareness of high-speed boats on St. Lawrence key to safety.

This weekend we will be seeing sun and slightly cooler temperatures through the weekend. At least that’s according to the weather man. Water levels are slowly starting to go down so we may not be wading in water on the docks.

There are some spots in boats doing Canadian wrecks so call around if you are looking for a last-minute dive. As well there is now some availability for walk-on divers in the evenings to dive the Wolfe Islander in Kingston. Contact Helen at ABUCS Scuba for details.

This weekend is also the poker run in Kingston so there will be lots of activity and boats in Kingston, as well as the run taking place out on the river. If you are on the river be aware of the large groups of boats operating at high speeds.

We are getting down to our last weekends of the summer, so get out and enjoy the sunny weather and the diving. Dive safely and you may see me out there on the river this weekend.
