This holiday, I hope everyone will be enjoying your three days off. Unfortunately, for divers on Friday, who wish to dive the St Lawrence River, rain and thunderstorms are predicted. Weather should clear for Saturday and Sunday, so you can get out and dive on the river or in Lake Ontario. Many divers may be headed to The Thousand Islands this long holiday weekend.

On shore in Gananoque, the rib festival will be taking place. After your dive, take a short drive from either Kingston or Brockville to enjoy some good BBQ eats. There also will be firework displays in most of the towns along the St Lawrence River to celebrate Canada Day. Kingston and Brockville are both are known for putting on good light shows.

There are still some spaces available on dive boats that will be out on the river this weekend, check with the charter companies along the river if you are looking to get out for a dive.

Dive safe and enjoy your long weekend.
