Started by two friends in 2012 with a common love for diving, we are instructors, dive masters and casual divers who share a passion for the sport and a love of life. We are now the largest non-profit, independent dive club in York Region – centered in the Newmarket and Aurora area – with membership spanning Canada and the U.S, and growing every day!
York Region Scuba organizes local Ontario summer dive trips and international dive trips geared towards all experience levels, as well as weekly night dives throughout the season. We welcome divers from beginner through technical and re-breathers. New to diving? Come on out and learn what’s involved in joining one of the most exciting sports around – it’s easier than you think! Our club has no membership fees or requirements to join, except for a desire to have fun!
We are affiliated with a number of dive shops throughout the region that provide access to scuba class, continuing education, recommendations for equipment and air fills.
