In order to pursue justice and liberation for oppressed fishermen who feed the world’s insatiable demand for seafood, the Ghost Fleet follows a small group of activists who risk their lives on remote Indonesian Islands.
Patima Tungpuchayakul, a Thai abolitionist based in Bangkok, has devoted her life to helping these “lost” men come home. The fearless resolve of Patima for justice inspires her nation and the world in the face of disease, death threats, injustice, and complacency.
