About Jill Heinerth
Jill Heinerth is a cave diver, adventurer, writer, photographer, and filmmaker from Canada. She has worked on projects in submerged caverns all over the world for over thirty years, filming, photographing, and exploring. She has written multiple books, produced television series, and is a frequent corporate keynote speaker. Jill is the Royal Canadian Geographical Society’s inaugural Explorer in Residence, the recipient of Canada’s coveted Polar Medal, and a Fellow of the International Scuba Divers Hall of Fame. Jill received the Sir Christopher Ondaatje Medal for Exploration from the Royal Geographical Society and the William Beebe Award from the Explorers Club in appreciation of her lifetime achievements.
