It is the Canada Day long weekend, so Happy 150th Canada. So far it is looking like rain for Friday and Saturday in Brockville and the 1000 Islands region. However, Sunday and Holiday Monday are looking sunny with temperatures in the mid-twenties.

If you are in Brockville this weekend be aware that diving at Centeen Park will be restricted Friday and Saturday due to the fire works display set up and fireworks on Saturday night. Signs are posted informing divers of the restrictions.

If you are looking for diving this weekend there are several spots available on dive charters over the long weekend on the river. Give your favourite operator a call if you are hoping to get in a last minutes dive.

Of course there will be lots of Canada day events taking place along the water this weekend from Kingston to Brockville.
